	A master model is defined from the customer's specifications as 2D shapes and cross-section parameters. After that, many 5-axis or 3.5-axis tool paths which are effective for tire groove milling are defined automatically. EUKLID V4(TM) is used in this process.
The system which can define a tool path from the customer's solid model is strongly required. We chose Pro/ENGINEER(TM) as a current solid CAM system for tire mold manufacturing.
	We make sure that all NC data runs correctly by NC simulation software.
And also, we make sure that all NC data is safe. During 5-axis milling, the work table tilts and rotates continuously, so a collision accident may occur.
